Irving Police Arrest Man on Multitude of Drug and Weapon Charges

Justin Deleon found himself in police custody yesterday after being arrested by the Irving Police Department. The 37-year-old was taken into custody and booked into the Irving Jail at approximately 4:20 pm on August 23, 2023.

The authorities have levied a total of 10 charges against him, including serious drug-related offenses and firearm possession violations.

Deleon faces the following charges:

  1. Manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1 (opioids), less than 200 grams.
  2. Possession of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 2 (THC, Mushrooms, Meth), less than 400 grams.
  3. Two charges of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
  4. Possession of marijuana, equal to or less than 5 pounds.
  5. Manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1 (opioids), 4 grams or more but less than 200 grams.
  6. Manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 3 or 4, 400 grams or more.
  7. Three charges of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, less than 200 grams.

Details surrounding the circumstances of Deleon's arrest remain limited, as the investigation is ongoing. However, the charges indicate a wide range of alleged criminal activities, spanning from drug manufacturing and distribution to unlawful possession of firearms.
