The Plano Police Department has been actively investigating and enforcing prostitution within the city limits. Over the past two months, detectives have conducted multiple demand reduction operations aimed at decreasing the number of buyers (aka "Johns") of commercial sex.
These operations have been carried out in several locations and on different dates, leading to the arrest of 15 individuals for the felony offense of SOLICITATION OF PROSTITUTION.
