Dallas Police Department Intensifies Investigation into Unsolved 2005 Murder of Gail Delay

The Dallas Police Department has announced a renewed effort to solve the 2005 murder of 49-year-old Gail Delay. Despite the case never officially being closed, detectives are now redoubling their efforts to bring justice to Delay and her grieving family.

On July 24, 2005, the lifeless body of Gail Delay was discovered in her residence on the 6000 block of Danbury Lane in Northeast Dallas. The preliminary investigation indicated that she had sustained fatal injuries from both blunt force trauma and multiple stab wounds.

Over the past 18 years, Dallas Police Department investigators have diligently followed up on leads and explored every possible avenue to identify and apprehend the perpetrator responsible for Delay's death. However, the case remains unresolved.

Ms. Delay was last seen alive by friends.
