Man Killed After Being Struck by Vehicle in Weatherford

A pedestrian died early Wednesday morning after being hit by a vehicle in Weatherford, according to first responders. The crash was reported around 1:45 a.m. in the 2600 block of South Main Street, near the Chick-fil-A restaurant, prompting a response from Weatherford Fire Department, Weatherford Police Department, and Parker County Hospital District EMS crews. Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office later identified the victim as a 47-year-old man.
