A 78-year-old motorcyclist died Wednesday evening after his bike collided with a pickup truck in the 1100 block of North Main Street in Cleburne, according to police.
Cleburne police and fire crews were called to the scene around 7:10 p.m. on September 9, 2026. Investigators say the motorcycle was heading north on North Main when a southbound pickup, positioned in the left-turn lane to head east into a nearby business driveway, turned into its path and struck the bike.
The motorcycle rider was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The pickup's driver was not hurt in the crash.
Cleburne police continue to investigate the wreck, which occurred along a stretch of North Main Street lined with retail and commercial businesses.
