IRVING, Texas. A 30-year-old woman was arrested after police say she threatened another woman with a handgun during an argument at an apartment complex in south Irving.
Irving police responded on July 5 to the 500 block of E. 6th Street in the Delaware at Heritage Crossing neighborhood after receiving a 911 call reporting an active disturbance.
According to police, the 30-year-old victim told officers that her friend, Kaylin Alexandria Taylor, came to her apartment and threatened her with a firearm.
Investigators said Taylor intentionally threatened the victim with bodily injury while displaying a Smith & Wesson SD40 VE handgun. Police allege Taylor threatened to shoot the victim while racking the slide of the firearm.
Taylor then left the scene in a yellow Dodge Challenger.
A short time later, Irving officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. During the investigation, Taylor admitted she had been involved in the confrontation while holding the handgun but denied threatening the victim, according to police.
Taylor was arrested and booked into the Irving Jail.
She is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
