Irving Teen on Probation Arrested After Threatening to Kill Brother With Knife

Jeremie Xavier Lenon

IRVING, Texas — A 19-year-old Irving man remains in custody after police say he threatened his brother with a knife during a domestic dispute at a North Irving apartment complex.

According to the Irving Police Department, officers responded at approximately 3:32 p.m. on Saturday, June 20th, to the Grand Riviera Apartments in the 2800 block of West Walnut Hill Lane following a report of a domestic disturbance.

The caller told dispatchers that his brother, identified as 19-year-old Jeremie Xavier Lenon, had threatened another sibling with a knife earlier in the day and had returned to the apartment.

A witness told responding officers that Lenon became involved in a verbal argument with his older brother before retrieving a knife from the kitchen, approaching the victim, and threatening to kill him.

The victim confirmed the account, telling officers that Lenon threatened him with the knife during the confrontation.

According to police, Lenon was advised of his Miranda rights, which he waived, and admitted that he became upset with his brother and retrieved the knife.

Lenon was arrested and booked into the Irving Jail on a charge of Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

His bond was set at $100,000.

Court records show Lenon is also being held on a probation violation.

In September 2025, Lenon accepted a plea agreement in a burglary of vehicles case and was placed on six months of deferred adjudication probation. After violating the terms of that probation, a judge extended his supervision through Sept. 4, 2026.

Following his June 20 arrest, prosecutors filed another motion to revoke his probation on June 29. A court order has been issued requiring Lenon to remain in custody until his probation revocation hearing.

All criminal charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
