Serious Accident Involving Three-Wheeled Trike Closes Intersection in Flower Mound

On Saturday, July 8th, emergency services were called to the 2000 block of Long Prairie Road, near the Chick-Fil-A restaurant, following a major accident involving a single vehicle. Flower Mound Fire Department and Police Department quickly responded to the scene to provide assistance.

At approximately 6:45pm, authorities arrived to find a three-wheeled trike with an unconscious driver. The driver, identified as a 49-year-old resident of Flower Mound, had suffered serious head injuries as a result of the accident. The exact cause of the incident remains under investigation.

Urgent medical attention was required, and the injured driver was swiftly transported to Baylor Grapevine, a nearby medical facility, to receive further treatment. The extent of his injuries and his current condition have not been disclosed at this time.

Due to the severity of the accident and the ongoing investigation, the intersection of Long Prairie Road and Flower Mound Road was temporarily closed to traffic. Police officials diligently examined the accident scene, collecting evidence and gathering information to determine the circumstances leading up to the incident.
