Dallas Police Receive Historic $10 Million Donation From QuikTrip for New Training Center

DALLAS — The Dallas Police Department announced it has received a $10 million investment from QuikTrip to support the department’s future Law Enforcement Training Center at the University of North Texas at Dallas.

According to police officials, the new training center will feature classroom space, physical training facilities, and immersive environments designed for scenario-based law enforcement training.

Department leaders said the facility is intended to enhance officer education and prepare officers for the evolving challenges of modern policing.

Daniel Comeaux called the contribution an investment in the future of public safety in Dallas and said the department is committed to ensuring officers receive the highest level of training possible.

Officials said the $10 million contribution is the largest donation in QuikTrip’s history.

The company has previously partnered with the Dallas Police Department on public safety initiatives, including purchasing blocker trucks used to protect first responders on highways and contributing more than $1.5 million toward upgrades to the department’s current reality-based training facility.
