RICHARDSON, Texas — Richardson Police are investigating a fatal incident that occurred Monday afternoon along the President George Bush Highway service road.
At approximately 1:45 p.m. on March 2, 2026, officers responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a man lying in the roadway on the eastbound service road of President George Bush Highway at Waterview Parkway.
When officers arrived, they located an adult male suffering from severe injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Preliminary investigation indicates the man was a passenger in a pickup truck traveling eastbound when he exited the moving vehicle and struck the pavement.
Authorities said no foul play is suspected at this time.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The investigation remains ongoing.
