FORT WORTH, TX - One person was killed and another seriously injured in a major crash early Sunday morning on Interstate 30 in Fort Worth.
Fort Worth Fire/EMS and police were dispatched around 1:50 a.m. on Sunday, January 18, to a collision in the westbound lanes of I-30 near the Walsh Ranch area. When emergency crews arrived, they found a two-vehicle crash with significant damage.
One individual was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second person suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been released.
The westbound lanes were impacted while investigators worked the scene. Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved or details on what led up to the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
