DALLAS, TX - Travelers at Dallas Love Field (DAL) no longer have to choose between breakfast classics and bar-and-grill favorites. Starting tomorrow, January 13, 2026, the airport will officially open the world’s first airport-based dual-branded Applebee’s® and IHOP®.
Located on the public side of the terminal—between the baggage claim area and the TSA security checkpoint—this unique dining concept allows both travelers and non-ticketed visitors to mix and match from two iconic menus under one roof.
Two Icons, One Kitchen
The innovative "co-branded" model streamlines operations by using a single kitchen and staff to serve two distinct dining atmospheres. Guests can choose to sit in the bright, cheerful environment of an IHOP or the warm, familiar neighborhood feel of an Applebee’s.
-
Mix & Match: You can order IHOP’s world-famous pancakes alongside Applebee’s fan-favorite boneless wings or a signature burger, regardless of where you are seated.
-
All-Day Access: The full combined menu is available from the moment the doors open until the final flight departs for the night.
A Local Landmark
The restaurant’s design is tailored specifically for the Big D. The interior features the Dallas skyline as a central wall décor theme and a curated mural of photographs showcasing the storied history of Dallas Love Field.
“Being the first airport to offer a dual-branded Applebee’s and IHOP is a milestone for Dallas Love Field and for our passengers,” said Patrick Carreno, Director of Aviation. “Whether travelers are craving pancakes or boneless wings, we’re making sure great food is always within reach.”
