In the early hours of July 3, 2023, the Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 5600 block of Pick Fair Circle. At approximately 2:30 a.m., officers arrived at the scene to find Leonette Thompson, 58, shot inside her home. Despite the prompt arrival of Dallas Fire Rescue, Thompson tragically succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation, with authorities working to determine the circumstances leading up to the shooting. As the community mourns the loss of Leonette Thompson, the Dallas Police Department has appealed to the public for any information that may assist in their ongoing investigation.
