MANSFIELD, Texas - Mansfield Fire Department crews responded Sunday, December 14, to a structure fire at a storage facility located on the Walnut Creek Country Club Golf Course.
Firefighters launched a fast, aggressive attack and were able to gain quick control of the blaze, stopping its spread with an effective knockdown. Crews used a blitz-style fire attack to bring the fire under control, ultimately extinguishing it without incident.
No injuries were reported, and nearby structures were not threatened.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Mansfield Fire officials credited the coordinated effort of responding crews and thanked the Arlington Fire Department for providing hazardous materials assistance and support on scene.
