Irving, Texas—Irving Police officers arrested Carlos Amilcar Martinez, 48, on the morning of Wednesday, December 10, 2025, on a charge of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.
Martinez was booked into the Irving Jail at 7:55 a.m.
Due to the sensitive nature of the crimes, Irving Police officials were unable to comment further on the ongoing investigation. More charges are possible.
Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child is a first-degree felony in Texas, which carries a potential sentence of 5 to 99 years or life imprisonment, along with a fine up to $10,000. In certain circumstances involving the victim's age, the minimum sentence is increased to 25 years.
