Irving, TX — A 43-year-old man was taken into custody early Wednesday morning after police reported finding him in possession of a controlled substance.
According to jail records, Adrian Hernandez was booked into the Irving Jail on September 17, 2025, at 3:35 a.m. following his arrest by an Irving Police Department officer. Hernandez faces a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1/1-B in an amount greater than four grams.
In addition to the narcotics charge, authorities noted that an immigration hold from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was placed on Hernandez.
As of Wednesday morning, Hernandez remained in custody. Further details about the circumstances of the arrest were not immediately available.
