A Dallas Police officer has been arrested in connection with a family violence incident, authorities confirmed.
On August 29, 2025, Officer Thomas Fury II, #11710, was taken into custody by the Terrell Police Department on a charge of Assault Bodily Injury – Family Violence, a Class A misdemeanor.
Officer Fury has served with the Dallas Police Department since May 2019 and is currently assigned to the Southeast Patrol Division.
Following the arrest, Dallas Police placed Officer Fury on administrative leave pending the outcome of both the criminal case and an internal affairs investigation.
