HURST, Texas — The Hurst Police Department is investigating a fatal vehicle accident that occurred around 2:20 a.m. Saturday, August 23, in the 200 block of Brown Trail.
First responders from Hurst Police and Fire arrived to find an overturned vehicle. According to authorities, a passenger was ejected during the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics. At least one other person was transported to a local hospital with injuries.
The Hurst Police CRASH team and detectives are continuing their investigation to determine the circumstances of the crash and whether any charges are warranted. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
