On Friday, August 22, Little Elm Police responded around 4:30 p.m. to reports of an altercation involving minors at the intersection of Duck Cove Drive and Marlin Drive, with one individual reportedly carrying a handgun.
As a precaution, Navo Middle School was placed in secure mode during after-school activities. Officers quickly located all individuals involved and arrested a minor found in possession of a handgun.
The school’s secure mode was lifted approximately 20 minutes later.
