IRVING, TX — On the early morning of Saturday, July 12, Irving Police responded to a domestic dispute call at the Park Grove Square Apartments in the 2900 block of W. Shady Grove Road in South Irving.
Officers arrived around 1:23 a.m. to find 54-year-old Agron Sulejmani, who reported that his 81-year-old father, Lutfi Luigi Sulejmani, had stabbed him during an argument. The dispute escalated when Lutfi Sulejmani grabbed a carving knife from the kitchen and stabbed his son in the left shoulder.
The victim sustained visible but minor injuries. His account was consistent and supported by physical evidence, including the recovered knife with blood on its tip.
Lutfi Luigi Sulejmani was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Family Violence. The investigation remains active.
