In the late hours of June 26, 2023, Dallas Police Officers responded to a shooting incident reported at Methodist Dallas Medical Center at approximately 11:15 p.m., prompting a swift response from law enforcement.
According to the preliminary investigation, the shooting occurred in the 1900 block of S. St. Augustine Road. Tragically, two individuals were struck by gunfire at that location and were subsequently transported to a nearby hospital via private vehicles.
Regrettably, despite the best efforts of medical professionals, one of the victims, identified as a teenage male, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
The second victim, a man whose identity has not been disclosed, remains in stable condition, according to the latest reports.
As of now, the motive behind the shooting remains unknown, leaving investigators with numerous unanswered questions.
