A Dallas County jury has found Fidel Antonio Cruz, 70, guilty of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child under 14 and sentenced him to 65 years in prison without the opportunity of parole. The verdict and sentencing occurred on May 22, 2025.
Cruz was initially charged in March 2023 for continuously sexually abusing a child under the age of 14.
The prosecution team included Lead Prosecutor Ward Weber, Second Chair Aryanna Bradford, DA Investigator Joe Matio Mundy, and DA Victim Advocate Audri Graham. Cruz has appealed the decision.
