Irving Police officers have arrested 22-year-old Cristofer Posas-Valdivia, of Dallas, charging him with Indecent Exposure and Indecent Assault following an incident that occurred in an Uber vehicle last week.
The arrest took place on Tuesday, June 17th, with Posas-Valdivia being booked into the Irving Jail at 8:43 PM.
The investigation began earlier that day, at approximately 6:26 p.m., when Irving Police officers were dispatched to the QuikTrip gas station at 1600 W. LBJ Fwy in Farmer's Branch, responding to a sexual assault call. The 911 caller, a female Uber driver, reported that a male passenger was masturbating in her vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim, who explained that during the ride, Posas-Valdivia, without her consent and with the apparent intent to sexually arouse or gratify, allegedly touched her breast. She further stated that he exposed his penis and began to masturbate. The victim conveyed to officers that she was offended by the contact and felt "scared."
Officers also reviewed CCTV footage from the QuikTrip parking lot. The video reportedly showed the victim abruptly stopping her car upon entering a parking space, quickly exiting the vehicle, and calling the police. In the opinion of the officers, these actions were consistent with someone who had experienced a traumatizing event.
