The Fort Worth Police Department announced Tuesday, June 24, that its Narcotics Unit recently made a significant drug seizure involving narcotics and cash transported from Oklahoma.
The operation resulted in the confiscation of over 300 pounds of marijuana, more than $500,000 in cash, and several firearms. Authorities stated the bust was the result of a focused investigation into narcotics trafficking operations crossing into Texas.
The department credited the diligence and coordination of the Narcotics Unit for the successful seizure. Officials described the haul as a “solid win” in ongoing efforts to disrupt drug trafficking networks operating in and around Fort Worth.
Additional details about the suspects involved or charges filed were not immediately released. The investigation remains active.
