Southwest Airlines Ranked No. 1 for Economy Class Customer Satisfaction

Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) has been named the Best Airline for Economy Class Customer Satisfaction for the fourth consecutive year, according to the J.D. Power 2025 North America Airline Satisfaction Study.

The recognition also includes top rankings in Airline Staff and Level of Trust, solidifying the airline’s reputation for customer-focused service.

“We’re honored to receive this ranking for a fourth year since it celebrates our Customer-friendly choices and our legendary Hospitality,” said Bob Jordan, President, CEO, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Southwest Airlines.

Southwest Airlines continues to report the lowest ratio of consumer service complaints, as documented by the U.S. Department of Transportation.

“Our Southwest Team continues to deliver a unique combination of unrivaled Customer Service with top-ranking operational performance,” said Andrew Watterson, Chief Operating Officer at Southwest Airlines.

The study surveyed 10,224 passengers who flew major North American airlines between March 2024 and March 2025.
