Child Grazed by Stray Bullet in Fort Worth Apartment Shooting

In a distressing incident earlier today, local authorities responded to a shooting at the Salene Apartments located on 9041 Brian Way Circle in west Fort Worth. At approximately 9:04 am, gunfire erupted, causing panic and injuring a sleeping child.

According to officials, an unidentified assailant discharged a firearm outside the apartment complex. The bullet penetrated the wall of a bedroom, narrowly grazing a child as she peacefully slept. The quick response from Fort Worth police ensured that the child received immediate medical attention.

Paramedics were promptly dispatched to the scene and provided on-site treatment to the child, whose injuries were deemed minor. Although shaken, the young victim did not require transportation to a hospital and was able to remain with her family.

Gun Violence detectives have assumed control of the investigation.
