Saginaw Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 100 block of Cambridge Drive at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
Responding officers located a male subject outside a residence suffering from an apparent single gunshot wound. Medical personnel transported him via ground ambulance to John Peter Smith Hospital.
Inside the residence, officers found a female subject who had placed the 911 call. She reported injuries to her neck and head and was also transported by ground ambulance to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital. Authorities stated that the female subject is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
No arrests have been made at this time. Investigators believe this to be an isolated domestic incident and do not believe there is any threat to the public. The investigation is continuing.
