Monday night's Grapevine-Colleyville ISD Board meeting commenced with several recognitions.
Piyush Mallick, a junior at Grapevine High School, was celebrated for achieving a perfect score on the SAT, following his previous perfect score on the ACT. Bransford Elementary student Kyra Khurana was honored for her artwork, which was selected from the District Art Show to be displayed in the Administration Building’s Gallery by the GCISD leadership team.
The Grapevine High School girls’ soccer team was recognized for their successful season and their bronze medal finish at the UIL 5A Division II state semifinals.
Finally, the Colleyville Heritage High School girls’ soccer team was congratulated for their second consecutive appearance in the State Championship Game, where they earned the silver medal at the UIL 5A Division I state finals.
