A 24-year-old man who solicited sexually explicit photos from an 8-year-old girl was sentenced to more than 21 years in federal prison, announced Acting U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas Chad Meacham.
Geovanny Davila Cisneros, of Las Vegas, was indicted in January 2024 and pleaded guilty in April 2024 to enticement of a child. He was sentenced Friday by U.S. District Judge Reed C. O’Connor to 262 months in federal prison followed by 25 years of supervised release. Cisneros will also be required to register as a sex offender.
According to plea papers, Cisneros admitted to using text messaging and social media to communicate with the 8-year-old girl. He made sexually suggestive comments towards her and asked her to send him sexually explicit photos.
The U.S. Secret Service’s Dallas Field Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Special Investigations Unit conducted the investigation with the assistance of the Secret Service’s Las Vegas Field Office and the Las Vegas Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Assistant U.S. Attorney Aisha Saleem prosecuted the case.
