On Friday, January 24, 2025, the Irving Police Department made a significant arrest in connection with a gang of identity thieves. The three men, all Venezuelan nationals, were arrested and charged with several serious crimes.
28-year-old Luis Ruiz-Leon was booked into the Irving jail at 9:25 p.m., facing charges of Engaging in Organized Activity, Fraud Possession/Use of Stolen Credit Cards, and Fraud Use/Possession of Stolen Identification.
33-year-old Rousenger Munoz-Diaz was also arrested and charged with the same three offenses.
39-year-old Lucas Ynciarte-Huerta, who was also taken into custody, faced the same three charges, along with an additional charge of Forgery of Government/National Documents.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are continuing to work on identifying any additional victims or individuals involved in the criminal activities of this gang.
