On Sunday, June 11th, at approximately 4:00pm, Weatherford Fire Department, Weatherford Police Department, and Parker County Hospital District EMS responded to a single vehicle crash along westbound Interstate 20 near Tin Top Road.
According to Weatherford police, the vehicle was traveling westbound on the interstate and struck a portion of the bridge, causing the driver to lose control. The vehicle left the roadway, overturned, and landed on Tin Top Road.
PCHD EMS confirmed two people were deceased on the scene. A third individual was transported to a Fort Worth hospital in life-threatening condition.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash. It remains under investigation at this time.
