On Sunday, October 13, 2024, Irving Police officers responded to a domestic disturbance at the Chaparral Creek Apartments located in the 600 block of Mills Ln in Las Colinas. Upon arrival, officers found a 31-year-old woman who had been assaulted with a knife and was treated at the scene.
During the investigation, police confiscated a rolling suitcase containing clothing, a handbag with shoes, and other personal effects as one of the individuals was in the process of moving out.
The suspect was identified as the woman’s boyfriend, 41-year-old Raushan Woodraw White-Kareem. He was subsequently charged with Domestic Violence - Aggravated Assault With a Weapon. The investigation is ongoing.
