Arlington Man Arrested in Irving Drug Bust, Faces Multiple Charges

On Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 2:45 AM, Irving Police officers executed a search warrant for suspected narcotics at the Sedona Park Apartments located at 4346 W. Northgate Drive in North Irving. Inside the apartment, officers arrested 29-year-old Trinton Deon Kennedy of Arlington.

During the search, authorities discovered illegal drugs, at least one weapon, and $668 in U.S. currency. Kennedy has been charged with three counts of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penal Group 1, Possession of Marijuana under 5 lbs, Prohibited Weapon, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

On October 12, Kennedy was transferred to the Dallas County Jail, where he remains incarcerated on a $216,000 bond. He will not be eligible for release due to being out on bond for a Cruelty to Animal charge stemming from a June 7, 2024, arrest in Dallas. Kennedy has a history of arrests related to domestic violence and drugs, including previous drug charges in Tarrant County.
