Irving Police Arrest Three in Traffic Stop, Wanted Fugitives Found with Narcotics

On September 30, 2024, at around 11:51 PM, Irving Police officers stopped a vehicle on Spur 482 northbound near CarMax, leading to the arrest of three individuals, two of whom had outstanding warrants from other counties. During the stop, officers found narcotics in the vehicle.

The driver, 29-year-old Destiny Lorraine Heiman of Sachse, had a warrant issued by the Dallas County Sheriff's Office for a parole violation related to a prior drug possession conviction. Another passenger, 34-year-old Derek Brandon Jacobsen of Wylie, had a warrant from the Collin County Sheriff's Office for bond forfeiture on charges of Continuous Violence Against Family and Theft of Property stemming from an April 2024 arrest.

The third occupant, 28-year-old Jonathan Heiman of Balch Springs, was also taken into custody. All three were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1/1-B less than 1 gram. They were booked into the Irving Jail and later transferred to the Dallas County Jail on October 2, 2024.
