The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian collision that occurred early Tuesday, July 30, 2024. At approximately 4:40 a.m., officers responded to the 600 block of North Freeway / Toll Express Southbound lane where a man had been struck by a vehicle.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the vehicle remained on-site and is cooperating with the investigation. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the victim's identity after next-of-kin notification.
