On Sunday, May 26, 2024, at 2:06 PM, Dallas Fire Rescue, Dallas Police, and DPS Troopers responded to a major accident involving a motorcycle on northbound Dallas North Tollway near Northwest Highway.
Upon arrival, emergency responders determined that a motorcyclist, traveling at a high rate of speed, made an unsafe lane change and struck the back of a box truck. The motorcyclist, 21-year-old Miguel Angel Ochoa-Rodriguez from Hunt County, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the box truck was not injured.
All lanes of northbound Dallas North Tollway were closed while DPS investigated the scene.
