On Saturday, April 20, 2024, emergency services swiftly responded to a major accident at the intersection of S. Riverside Dr. and E. Berry St. at 12:55 p.m. The Fort Worth Police Department, Fire Department, and MedStar EMS were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, responders immediately provided aid to those involved. Three individuals were rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention.
One of the victims succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. The deceased has been identified as 65-year-old William Aaron Cheese, a resident of Fort Worth.
The other two victims are reported to be in stable condition as of now.
The Fort Worth Traffic Investigations Unit has been informed and is actively probing the circumstances surrounding the incident.
