The Temple Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred Sunday evening, leaving two individuals injured.
At approximately 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, authorities responded to reports of a shot disturbance in the 1800 block of E Avenue K. Upon arrival, officers found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The injured individuals were transported to Baylor Scott and White Medical Center for medical attention.
As of now, there have been no additional injuries reported in connection with the incident. Police are actively searching for the suspect, who reportedly fled the scene on foot.
