After an investigation into prostitution in Irving, an arrest was made in the afternoon of February 20, 2024. Irving Police Officers apprehended 35-year-old Gabriela Cano-Hernandez, an undocumented immigrant living in Irving.
Cano-Hernandez is charged with promoting prostitution involving a person under the age of 18 (1st degree felony). Her bond was set at $50,000, but U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) issued a warrant to hold her in jail. On February 24th, she was transferred to the Dallas County Jail where she remains incarcerated.
Due to the ongoing investigation, the Irving Police Department was not able to provide any other details.
