On Monday, March 11, 2024, at approximately 2:16 AM, Dallas County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Units were dispatched to eastbound I-30 at I-45 to an accident.
Initial investigations suggest that the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, which then fled the scene without providing assistance to the victim. Unfortunately, there is currently no description available for the suspect vehicle.
Furthermore, authorities discovered the deceased pedestrian's vehicle abandoned and wrecked on the connector ramp from southbound I-45 to eastbound I-30.
