On Thursday, March 8th, a small sinkhole formed in the 3000 block of Old Hickory Trail and Wichita Street in Forest Hill due to high water, causing a vehicle to become stranded on the roadway. Wichita Street was closed temporarily while a tow truck removed the vehicle from the sinkhole. Old Hickory Trail will remain closed for repairs by Forest Hill public works. The Forest Hill Police Department advises caution when traveling in this area.
