Oak Cliff Cultural Center Showcases Tiara Unique Francois' Solo Exhibition

The Oak Cliff Cultural Center proudly presents "Learning to be T.U.F.," a solo exhibition by Tiara Unique Francois, curated by Ciara Elle Bryant. The exhibition, which opened on February 24th with a reception, features a collection of Francois' paintings and assemblage pieces. Francois' work delves into narratives centered around her identity, family, and personal experiences, reimagining memories through self-reflection.

With a focus on her journey from childhood to adulthood, Francois explores themes of self-growth, hope, and self-doubt. The title of the exhibition, "Learning to be T.U.F.," references her personal evolution, with 'T.U.F.' serving as an acronym for Tiara Unique Francois. According to Bryant, the curator, the exhibition reflects Francois' willingness to explore and learn about herself, offering viewers a glimpse into her soul journey through journal entries and soulful portraits.
