On Wednesday, February 21, 2024, a Johnson County Sheriff's Office Corporal detected a Harley Davidson motorcycle exceeding 100 mph on SW Wilshire Blvd in Joshua, Texas.
The rider initially stopped but suddenly accelerated northbound on SH-174. The deputy pursued the motorcycle northbound on I-35 into Fort Worth city limits, where visual contact was lost, leading to the termination of the pursuit. Later, a Fort Worth Police Officer located the motorcycle on I-30 eastbound. The Johnson County Deputy arrived at the scene to find no driver present, but observed bloody fingerprints on the ignition switch and blood drips in the helmet. Following the retrieval and transportation of the motorcycle to the Sheriff's Office, the Corporal will be preparing a warrant for the rider.
