On Saturday, February 17, 2024, Irving Police Officers apprehended 24-year-old Carlos Alexis Alvarado-Sorto following an inquiry into allegations of sexual abuse involving a child. The arrest took place on the 1000 block of S. Gloucester St. in the Northgate Heights neighborhood of North Irving. Alvarado-Sorto has been charged with a 2nd-degree felony, specifically Sexual Assault Child. As of now, no bond has been established for his release.
