Irving Police is hosting an important safety event at no cost on Saturday, May 6 dealing with Child Car Seats.
The event will take place at 1007 N. O'Connor Rd, Irving, TX 75061.
IPD says that car crashes are the number one cause of unintentional injury-related death in children and that a properly installed child seat is highly effective at preventing injury and death.
More than 80% of all child safety seats on the road are improperly installed. Irving Police is providing certified child passenger safety technicians to teach residents how to properly install a child seat.
Sports are limited so make an appointment today. Appointments will run on the hour from 8:15 am to 12:15 pm.
