Irving Police Officers arrested 45-year-old Michael Mungia of Dallas on Monday afternoon, February 12, 2024.
Mungia was wanted by the Dallas County Sheriff's Office on a warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Additionally, Irving Police charged him with unlawful possession of a firearm by a convict and failure to comply as a sex offender. Mungia has been a registered sex offender since October 15, 1998, following his conviction for the aggravated sexual assault of a 13-year-old female.
