Fort Worth Woman Killed in South Arlington Collision

On Tuesday, February 13, 2024, emergency responders rushed to the 2300 block of W. Sublett Road following a collision between a car and a pickup truck. The incident occurred around 10:27 a.m. According to investigators, the driver of a sedan traveling eastbound on Sublett Road made an unsafe lane change, resulting in a collision with the front end of a pickup truck. The impact caused the sedan to spin out and collide with a tree in the median.

The driver of the sedan, identified as a 33-year-old female from Fort Worth, was fatally injured in the crash. She was transported to a local hospital but was later pronounced deceased. Notably, she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.

The driver of the pickup truck emerged from the incident unharmed and is not facing any charges related to the collision.
