DPS Troopers responded to reports of a reckless motorcyclist on I20 in Weatherford, Parker County, around 8:00pm on Thursday, February 8.
The motorcyclist was spotted traveling eastbound on the I20 service road. However, as the motorcycle continued on the service road, it ran a stop sign at the Tin Top Road intersection and collided with a vehicle.
The impact resulted in both the 20-year-old male operator, Ian Nash Ellis, and his 19-year-old female passenger, Mya Joli Jimenez, being ejected from the motorcycle.
Both Ellis and Jimenez were pronounced deceased at the scene. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
