Fugitive Woman Arrested in Irving on Drug Charges After Months on the Run

Late on Saturday, February 3, 2024, Irving Police executed an arrest warrant for 42-year-old Jessica Nicole Carter, a woman wanted for possession of controlled substances. The Fort Worth Police Department had contacted Irving Police, seeking assistance in apprehending Carter, who was believed to be staying in Irving.

Carter's legal troubles stem from an original offense involving possession of a controlled substance, specifically Methamphetamine and Fentanyl, in the amount of  4 grams to less than 200 grams (poss cs pg 1>=4g<200g). Initially given probation, Carter faced legal consequences when she was arrested in Dallas again for possession of Meth.  She was arrested again in Fort Worth on September 14, 2022. Subsequently, on September 26, 2022, her probation was revoked. Carter posted bond but has been evading authorities since her release.

The 372nd District Court of Tarrant County issued a warrant for Jessica Nicole Carter's arrest. Carter has a history of legal issues, having been arrested in Tarrant, Dallas, Denton, Burnet, and Travis Counties on various charges, including DWI, possession of drugs, assault, and failure to appear in court.

Carter will be transferred to the Tarrant County Jail to face the charges against her.
