In a busy week for the Bedford Night Shift officers, their proactive efforts led to the arrest of a suspect in a stolen vehicle case. Late on Monday night, Flock, the License Plate Reader (LPR) technology, alerted officers to a stolen vehicle in the city. The officers swiftly located the vehicle and apprehended the driver.
As the week progressed, Bedford officers remained vigilant, conducting a total of 22 traffic stops during their shift from Wednesday night to Thursday morning. Among these stops, one resulted in the arrest of a driver found in possession of a significant amount of narcotics and a loaded firearm. The Bedford Night Shift officers continue their commitment to keeping the community safe through their diligent and proactive policing efforts.
